Pike Fishing

The massive presence of XXL-sized Pikes makes Extremadura one of the favourite destination of fishermen from all over the world. You can find them in shallow water, inside real submerged forests near the rocky shores, and in deeper water too. But do not forget “Top-Water” fishing in those low pressure days! The best period to catch the big extremenian Pikes goes from October till the end of February, but May and June can also be two good months because of their post-spawn hunger.
