Lake Serena

With its area of 140 square kilometres it’s the largest of the lakes in Extremadura.

Very huge pikes live in its flooded forests, near the extended shores or in its depth. Since the vastness of this Embalse, the catch is not guaranteed but you can be sure that if you’re fishing with constancy and patience, here you can achieve a lifetime fish.

La Serena has in addition a good population of Comizo Barbels that can offer lots of catches both for fly fishing and spinning fishermen. Even in this lake, there’s no lack of Zanders and Black Bass.
